User Group Membership - what does it mean?

Meetings are held on a Thursday morning starting at 8.00 for a four star breakfast in the hotel restaurant.  The breakfast choices cover traditional English breakfast, cereals, fruits, breads and pastries.   The group then moves to the meeting room for a 9.00 start when a senior manager from Microsoft provides updates from Microsoft and answers members’ questions.  At around 10.00, after a break for refreshments and networking, the sponsor takes the floor to explain and demonstrate their particular add-on designed to work with Dynamics NAV to enhance and extend its performance.  This is followed by questions and the meeting ends between 11.30 and 12.00 with many members staying to talk to the sponsor or to each other.

Value of the group

Meetings are held three to four times a year at The Menzies Hotel and Golf Club at Bar Hill, Cambridge.

Members pay £70 per annum for membership which entitles them to send various interested users from their organisation.    As this is an independent group an additional charge of £20 per person per meeting attended is charged to cover the actual venue and refreshments costs.
Other funding comes from sponsors who pay to present their products at the meeting.

Attending as a Guest

We welcome new people to our meetings so that they can see for themselves how it works and the benefits to be gained.
